Losing weight is something, but not regaining it is another matter altogether. A brand new study required a closer look at people who preserved their weight reduction.

“Larger sized initial weight losses and longer length of maintenance were actually associated with much better long-term benefits,” Dr. Thomas and colleagues noted. “Decreases in discretion-time physical activity, diet restraint, and frequency of self-weighing, and increases in percentage of electricity intake from fat and disinhibition had been associated with higher weight get back.”
The researchers concluded that repair of weight loss within the long-term is possible, but experienced changes in behavior are required to keep your weight away from.
